◆祓（はらえ）と禊（みそぎ）
- 解釈：祓と禊は、わが国の神道における必須の務めである。人は、純真無垢で誕生するが、時間の経過とともに罪や穢れが付く。そのため、必要に応じて随時、そして神を拝礼するときなどに、付着した罪や穢れを祓ったり、禊を行ったりして、心身を清める。そして、元々の清純な人間に立ち返る。
祓えは、代行に分類されよう。 - Literal：The purifying ritual. Purification ceremony.
- Interpretation：The purifying ritual and the purification ceremony are required duty in the Shinto of our country. Naivete is innocent, and the human is born, but there are a crime and impurity with progress of the time. Therefore the human expels a crime and the impurity that attached at time it is occasional and to worship the god as needed and make ablutions and cleanse mind and body. And it gets back to the human being who is pure and innocent of the material.

そして、元々の清純な人間に立ち返る。神社神道の理念は、清き明き直き正しき真心をもって生涯を全うすることである。
And the people get back to the human being who is pure and innocent originally. People are an idea of the shrine Shinto is to accomplish a life with true mind of the "cleanliness" "fair" "honesty" "justice".
罪悪感（原罪なども）については、神社でお祓いを受けるのも、選択肢の一つだ。
It's also one of the choices to receive a purification ceremony at a shrine about sense of guilt (original sin).
